I get asked often this question: “What kind of church is
The TAB?” I think if you were to describe us we would be a new apostolic
church. The word apostolic means to be sent. So, what we see in the book
of Acts is that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit in Acts 2 to birth the church.
This same sending or apostolic Spirit then permeated the first church. The
TAB is very much a sending church in that we each understand that we are
sent out by God beyond the four walls of the church in order to reach
someone with the love of God. We are a “new” apostolic church in that we
are not living in the days of the book of Acts but we are a modern,
contemporary and 21rst century apostolic church.
